In each of us resides a place, a place of stillness, a place where we know our own truths. Its from within this place we’re able to see without cloudiness, without judgement. Its from this place that the creative spark ignites.
By the same token, there are places of this world that invoke and inspire inner stillness. Places where one moves with ease and a deeper sense of connection.
The natural world calls me on all levels.
It is a place where I sit with clarity.
The vastness of the sky, the expanse of the land, the ever changeable atmosphere; they all sing to me in ways I could never explain in words, but only through paint.
It is in this place that I have found my place.
